Simple for residents.
Powerful for councils.
MyCommunity removes every barrier to taking part. Here's how a community goes from a record in our registry to a thriving, resident-verified space.
From dormant record to living community.
MyCommunity is one platform that hosts many communities. Every UK community already exists as a record, it just needs the right person to bring it to life.
OS boundary & UK property data is our foundation geography, it's how every community is mapped accurately. It does not mean every place is automatically live.
Every community is in the registry
Using OS boundary and UK property data, each parish, town and community council exists as a dormant record, accurately mapped, but not yet live.
A clerk or leader requests a demo
Someone authorised to represent the community gets in touch. We show exactly how MyCommunity would work for a community their size.
We review and approve
We confirm the request is genuine and the right people are involved, then approve the community for activation.
The community is provisioned
It becomes a live tenant with its own secure public space at yourcommunity.mycommunity.com, plus admin tools for the council team.
Residents join & verify
Residents confirm they live locally, by posted card or proof of address, then start reading minutes, reporting issues, voting and consulting.
Engagement that scales with you.
From a single resident to national consultations, every level flows through the same trusted platform.
Resident
An individual voice, informed, verified, and heard.
Community
Neighbourhoods and groups shaping local priorities together.
Community council
Councils listening, deciding and acting with a clear mandate.
Local authority
Regional bodies understanding the needs of every community.
Government
National consultations grounded in real, representative voices.
Trusted, verified, and anonymous.
Every resident verifies that they live locally before they can take part, yet their individual votes and feedback always remain anonymous. The result is the best of both worlds: integrity councils can stand behind, and honesty residents can rely on.
